The 10 Meta-Patterns of NLP

When most people think of NLP, they usually think about the techniques or the language patterns.

And there are a lot of techniques.

In fact, there’s one book in print that claims to have over 350 NLP techniques in total.

For someone who’s advanced, it’s like being a kid in a candy store.

But if you’re new?

It can seem a bit overwhelming.

How do you choose which ones to learn first?

How do you know whether or not the one you choose will get the response you’re looking for?

These are the kind of questions that can keep you up at night when you’re brand-new to this stuff.

Fortunately, there’s a way out of this mess.

In the “10 Meta-Patterns of NLP” online course, you’re going to learn the 10 foundational NLP Patterns. These patterns lay the groundwork for using the more advanced ones with easde.

No more second-guessing yourself.

And no more being paralyzed with indecision.

Just a clear path forward for learning and mastering NLP.

Here’s also what you’ll discover:

  • Get yourself out of a bad mental state using this simple trick. (Pattern #8)
  • Learn how to define a clear outcome to boost your chances of success. (Pattern #1)
  • Try out this simple technique that helps you build rapport with just about anyone. (Pattern #2)
  • Learn how to bring forth any useful state on demand. (Pattern #7)
  • How to practically guarantee that you’ll always get the response you want (Pattern #5)
  • And much more!

NLP Techniques Video Library

According to Richard Bandler (the guy that co-founded NLP), NLP is “an attitude, backed by a methodology, that leaves behind a trail of techniques.”

For our purposes, we’re going to be focusing on that last part.

“A trail of techniques”.

That’s no exaggeration either.

Over the years, hundreds of NLP techniques have been developed and/or discovered.

They all have the potential to produce near-instant results.

Which seems great, at first glance.

But the techniques are only as good as the person who’s using them.

If you were to take a brand-new NLP practitioner and an NLP Trainer and have them do the same technique, the NLP Trainer will most likely get better results.

And it’s not just because the NLP trainer has been doing it longer.

You need to have the right beliefs in order to do the techniques effectively.

Without a firm belief in yourself and what you’re doing, no NLP technique will work for you.

Learning a variety of techniques also expands your toolset and gives you multiple options to consider when dealing with a problem.

This goes back to the “Law of Requisite Variety”, which states that the system or person with the greatest flexibility of behavior will control the system.

In other words, the more NLP techniques you have at your disposal, the better.

I’ve taken 70 of the best NLP Techniques I’ve come across and put them together into one course called the NLP Techniques Video Library.

Here’s also what you’ll learn:

  • How to love your parents unconditionally (even if you’ve held a grudge against them for years)
  • Become completely self-reliant without having to depend on other people.
  • Gain wisdom from your “inner sage” whenever you find yourself stuck on a problem.
  • Discover how to “try on” a belief (or way of “being”) like a pair of pants to see if it works for you.
  • Destroy limiting beliefs and replace them with empowering ones.
  • And much more!

NLP Meta-Programs Mastery Course

The average person meets over 10,000 people in their lifetime.

Some of them will be a passing glance.

Others will be acquaintances.

A handful will be people you interact with on a daily basis.

But have you ever thought about how well you know the people around you?

You might get along with them more often than not, but then one day, they do something that seemingly comes out of left field.

What’s that about?

The concept of personality has been around for over 2,000 years beginning with Hippocrates back in 370 BCE.

On the surface, personalities make a lot of sense.

The dictionary defines personality as “The totality of qualities and traits, as of character or behavior, that are peculiar to a specific person.”

But this assumes that people act the same way all the time.

And nothing could be further from the truth.

For instance, you might act one way when you’re attending a church service, and a completely different way when you’re at a sporting event.

Personality doesn’t account for changing contexts.

If the concept of personality is flawed, then you can believe that personality tests aren’t much better.

There are many personality tests out there, such as the Myers-Briggs for instance, and all of them are riddled with problems.

The biggest one has to be the lack of reliability when it comes to personality results.

In 1991, a study was done by National Research Council on the MBTI test to see just how reliable it was. They found that only 24 of the 61 subjects received the same result when they took the test multiple times.

However, all is not lost.

There’s something that much more powerful than personality that can account for all the ways that we think, act, speak, and so on called Meta-Programs.

It was originally discovered by Leslie Cameron-Bandler, who at the time was working closely with Richard Bandler, the co-founder of NLP.

She noticed that whenever she would do “Textbook NLP” on certain people, she wouldn’t always get the response she’s looking for.

It was while working through these “failures” with Richard that she began to develop the initial list of the Meta-Programs.

Numerous people made contributions over the years (such as L. Michael Hall in his classic book "Figuring People Out") and have applied the Meta-Programs to different contexts such as business and selling.

After doing my own research on the subject, I’ve put together the very first NLP course on Meta-Programs called the “NLP Meta-Programs Mastery Course”.

Here's what you'll get:

  • A deep understanding into how people function through their cognitive processing, emoting, speaking and behaving.
  • Increase your sense of empowerment by understanding how you work or someone else works and being able to match that working.
  • Learn how to get rid of mental and behavioral processes that no longer serve you.
  • Accept, appreciate, and validate the differences of other people.
  • Reduce conflict with other people by showing them how they function.
  • Become a more flexible communicator.
  • And much more!
